Bali with clarity and flow.

I created Greenwave to offer smarter, more active ways to explore Bali.

My story

I came to Bali for a year.
Somehow, I never really left.

Bali became home — and now I love helping others discover the version of the island they’ll fall in love with.

Hi, I’m Agnes 👋

My Bali story started in 2016, when I arrived on a scholarship to study traditional Balinese dance. I instantly fell in love with the island’s rhythm and energy — and never really left.

Today Bali is my home, and it’s also where my son was born.

Over the years I’ve been exploring both the more different corners of the island and the places everyone comes to see. The secret is often not just where you go — but when and how you experience it.

Some travelers want temples, rice fields and slow mornings.
Others want volcano sunrises, surf days, jungle waterfalls and motorbike tours.

As a mom living in Bali, I also know what it’s like to explore the island with small kids — and how to make those adventures work as a family.

If you’re planning a trip to Bali, I’d love to help you to shape it.

Who I Help

I usually work with

• Curious solo travelers
• Couples looking for something different
• Families who want to share adventure with kids
• Small groups exploring together

I help you turn Bali ideas into a trip that actually flows.

Greenwave has a different way to explore Bali

Not through rushed itineraries or crowded hotspots.

But through movement, curiosity and a bit of adventure —
sunrise hikes, surfing spots, winding scooter roads, unexpected stops.

The best trips are not the busiest ones, but the ones that are thoughtfully designed.

That’s the idea behind Greenwave.

My Approach

A great trip isn’t about coming home fully rested.

It’s about coming back feeling something — inspired, recharged, maybe even a little changed.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when planning a trip to Bali is underestimating distances. What looks close on the map can easily turn into hours on the road — and that completely changes how your days feel.

Many travelers also try to fit too much into a limited time, without realizing how quickly the days fill up. Planning without local insight can also lead to unnecessary stress — especially when it comes to getting around the island.

I plan trips differently.

I think in flow — how your days connect, how you move, and how to make the most of every part of the journey. Even a transfer day can become something you actually enjoy — a waterfall stop, a great local lunch, a quiet road through rice fields.

Local knowledge makes a bigger difference than most people expect. Knowing when certain beaches work — depending on tides, swell or even the season — can completely change your experience. The same place can feel completely different from one day to another.

I can show you that there are many options to experience the island — or to reconnect with yourself. Sometimes it’s movement, nature, new environments, or simply stepping out of your usual rhythm that creates that shift. A motorbike ride chasing waterfalls, feeling the Balinese Gods’ presence on the top of Mount Agung, a sunrise surf session with your friends – or just being somewhere that feels completely different from your everyday life.

You don’t have to see everything. But you also don’t want to miss what really makes Bali special.

That’s what I design for. A smart, more active way to experience Bali.
